St. Olaf’s beautiful residential campus is a center for academic, social, cultural, and recreational activities. The Office of Residence Life strives to engage, motivate, and challenge students in 11 residence halls and 18 honor houses across campus serving 96% of the student body. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and student centered living environment that promotes personal and academic success.
Living and interacting with a diverse group of students in an environment created to enhance your academic success is what you should expect while attending St. Olaf College. Residence Hall Storage - End of Year
Storage for the Next School Year 2012-2013
The Residence Halls will be open for Furniture and Carpet - ONLY - Sunday, May 13th, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Costs: $5 for carpet roll, $15 for a chair or bookshelf and$20 for a sofa or futon --FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED!
Regular Hall Storage for full containers and boxes will be Wednesday, May 16th to Tuesday, May 22nd in each Hall from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. You should store in the hall where you live next year, if you are on a wait list store in your current hall; if you will be in a college house store in the House Storage in Mellby Hall. Storage does fill up so, first come, first served!

Class of 2016 housing information
Students coming to St. Olaf in the fall will be able to fill out their housing preferences at the admitted student site. We will add the link to our page when the site is open off the admission's site. Thank you for patience.
Residence Hall Break Schedule 2011-2012
The residence halls and honor houses are open for most college breaks and students have access to their rooms. The halls will lock and will be accessible only with a students' college ID.
End-of-Year Closing
Wednesday, May 23 at 10 a.m. for non-seniors
Monday, May 28 at 11 a.m. for seniors
Future Residence Hall Opening Dates:
Below are the dates the residence halls open for returning students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) for upcoming years. It is on these dates that students may move in for the fall.
