Upward Bound Students

St. Olaf College TRiO Upward Bound (UB)
is a federally-funded TRiO program designed to help high school students get to college by providing academic and personal support and guidance.

St. Olaf College Upward Bound students are from families below 150% of poverty and would be the first generation in their family to attend college. St. Olaf Upward Bound has been hosted by the College since 1989.

  • The Council for Opportunity in Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to the expansion of educational opportunities throughout the United States. The Council works in conjunction with colleges, universities and agencies that host TRiO programs to specifically help low-income and disabled Americans enter college and graduate.
