Time of Arrival
The St. Olaf Christmas Festival is held in Skoglund Center. Reserved seats are held until 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and until 3:20 p.m. on Sunday. If seats are available at these times, they are made available to people waiting for cancellations. Please arrive with time to spare because you may have to walk some distance from the parking lot to Skoglund Center, and the crowd in the foyer can be large.
Parking
Handicapped parking for those with the appropriate certification is available near the Skoglund Center entrance. Please check with staff members directing traffic for specific parking areas.
Shuttle Buses
Courtesy shuttle buses are provided from Buntrock Commons to Skoglund Center beginning 75 minutes
before each performance and running continuously until the start of the performance. Following the Christmas Festival performances, the courtesy buses will run from Skoglund Center to Buntrock Commons. Expect a 15-minute wait or longer when departing as buses may be caught in traffic.
Dining on Campus
A Scandinavian buffet is available in the Black and Gold Ballroom on the third floor of Buntrock Commons. Reservations are not necessary. Please check in with the buffet host upon your arrival for dinner seating. The cost of the buffet is $22.50 per person.
A Scandinavian buffet along with the normal student cafeteria meal is available in Stav Hall in Buntrock Commons for $18 per person ($11 per child, ages 4–12), payable at the door. No reservations required.
Coat Check
The St. Olaf women’s softball team will provide a coat check service in Skoglund Center during the concert. Contributions are appreciated.
Hearing Assistance
Skoglund Center is equipped with a hearing assistance system. Please ask an usher or the staff at the ticket desk for a receiver.
Additional Information
To avoid disruption of the Christmas Festival, do not bring or use a camera or video and audio recording equipment in Skoglund Center Auditorium.
Children under age 6 are not admitted.
